MISSION STATEMENT
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Stanhope Iowa has adopted the
following as our Mission Statement:
To Exemplify God’s Love and Work
- Proclaim God’s saving grace through faith, and preserve and transmit God’s Gospel faithfully to present and future generations.
- Commit ourselves to worship, study and service in order to be renewed in faith and spirituality.
- Encourage members, in their daily lives, to reach out to all people, within our community and beyond, with the good news of God’s love through Christ.
- Serve as God’s people in all the world, but specifically in this community and area: by bringing God’s light and love as witness to those around us; by being God’s caring presence through ministering to spiritual, physical and emotional needs of persons; by striving for justice and peace; and by inviting others into the fellowship of God’s people.
- Promote unity among all God’s people, specifically by joining with other Christians in worship, prayer and action.
